Wireless Info Vista-40 v14 and below support 5700 and 5800 series wireless

Vista-40 v15 and above support 5800 series wireless only

Enter Program 1. 4140 + 8 + 0 + 0 (Display should show 00)

or

2. Power down then back up and press * and # within 1 minute

Move to Location * + Location

View Location # + Location (Display will read off one digit at a time)

Exit Program 1. *98 exits and does not allow re-entry to programming without cycling power and pressing * and #

or

2. *99 exits and does allow re-entry by Installer Code + 8 + 00

Programming can be re-entered up to 1 minute after exiting with * and # (# + 0 disables this feature)

Default Panel *97, answer YES if using alpha keypads

Device Address 1. All keypads, receivers and expanders must be addressed and added in #93 menu

  1. Address 00 to 03 are pre-programmed as alpha keypads

  2. Address first keypad as 00 to allow entry into programming

  1. to 15 Keypads, zone expanders, wireless receivers etc

Keypad Address (6128/6139/6150/6160 keypads)

  1. Remove power from keypad then power back up

  2. Hold 1 & 3 for 3 seconds, "ADDR = XX" or "XX" should appear (XX = current address)

  3. Within 10 seconds enter 00 to erase old address then enter new address (00 to 15)

  4. Press * to save and exit

(6128RF/6150RF keypads)

  1. Power keypad down then back up or remove backplate

  2. Within 30 seconds hold 1 & 3 for 3 seconds until flashing " - - 0 0 "

  3. Press 1 and "cA XX" should appear (XX = current address)

  4. Enter new address (00 to 15) then * to exit back to flashing " -- 0 0 "

  5. Press * to exit

Partition Stuff (If system is Partitioned)

  1. Press *91

  2. Enter Partition (1 or 2)

  3. Enter location (all locations on this page marked )

  4. Press *99 to return to regular panel programming

Sniffer Test (Tests wireless sensors)

  1. Installer Code + # + 3

  2. Keypad displays all wireless sensors, faulting sensor removes it from list

  3. Exit with Installer Code + 1 (OFF)

Go-No Go Test (Verifies adequate RF by reducing receiver signal strength by 50%)

  1. Installer Code + # + 4

  2. a. Siren sounds

b. Panel may send walk test signal (If test signal was programmed)

c. "dd" appears on screen

d. Keypad will beep every 15 seconds

  1. Fault sensor, keypad should beep 3 times and display zone number,

if no beeps sound reorient or move sensor a few inches and try again

  1. Exit with Installer Code + 1 (OFF)
